Meditations: Stretch

Stretch

I stretch my body, my mind, and my spiritual understanding.

e have a purpose in life. Our purpose is to become more Christ-like and express the Christ consciousness. The Bible shows us the spiritual journey through various consciousnesses, and it is ours to stretch and to grow until we are at our fullest.

While we may have spiritual insights in any state, they seem more likely to come when our minds are strong, and our minds are strongest when we take care of our bodies. By consciously taking care of, exercising, and stretching our body temples, we help to keep our minds sharp. By exercising and stretching our minds, we prepare for our prayers and meditations.

We stretch our bodies, our minds, and our spiritual understanding. We seek to grow.

Isaiah 54:2-3, “Enlarge the place of your tents, and stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; spare not, lengthen your cords and strengthen your tent pegs; For you shall expand on the right hand and on the left; and your descendants shall inherit the Gentiles and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”
