Spiritual Power and Color

Wings
"The subconscious realm has twelve great centers of action, with twelve presiding egos or entities. When Jesus Christ had attained a certain soul development, He called His twelve disciples to Him. This means that when man is developing out of mere personal consciousness into spiritual consciousness, he begins to train deeper and larger powers; he sends his thought down into the inner centers of his being, and through his word quickens them to life. Where before his powers have worked in the personal, now they begin to expand and work in the universal. This is the first and second coming of Christ, spoken of in the Scriptures. The first coming is the receiving of Truth into the conscious mind, and the second coming is the awakening and the regeneration of the subconscious through the superconscious or Christ Mind."

Explanation"Love is from God, and it is given to man in its virgin purity. It is the pure essence of Being that binds together the whole human family." -- Charles Fillmore

Love is one of the divine feminine powers. It binds us together in many ways. There is the love of a mother or father. There is a love for a spouse. There is love for close friends. But the truth is that there is one Love at the root of all these others, and that is Spiritual Love. Being of the feminine, or feeling, nature, words cannot do Love justice, for words are masculine, intellectual. Charles Fillmore stated that the scientific term for love is "gravity," because it holds us all together.

But Love does not come alone. In the scriptures, John was the brother of James, who represents the spiritual power of Wisdom. These were the sons of Zebedee, which means "thunder." Spiritual Love married to and quickened with Spiritual Wisdom helps keep our love pure and our giving and receiving of love free from base motives.

Quotes
  • Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with action and in truth. -- 1 John 3:18
  • Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. -- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV
  • When I speak of love, I am speaking of that force which all the great religions have seen as the supreme unifying principle of life. Love is the key that unlocks the door which leads to ultimate reality. -- Martin Luther King, Jr.
“When the Bible says, ‘For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them,’ (Matthew 18:20) Jesus is referring to using your spiritual powers together to magnify them. By using or calling on Faith and Strength together, we will achieve more. By pairing Wisdom and Power, we will speak words of truth with authority. By combining the spiritual powers we multiply them.”
